On the other hand, we can see ‘The one that got away’ shows an emotional side from the slightly degraded font and the close up on her face, instantly showing emotion from her eyes. The cover however doesn’t completely take its edge away as we can see the colours are bright and contrasting, which reflects back to her more happier and vibrant side of an artist. The album suggests to the audience ‘The one that got away’ is a much more grounded and serious album as her facial expression is much more photographed in a professional and serious way, other than ‘I kissed a girl’ we can see it is rather animated to the name of the cover. This is important for our planning and organisation. When we plan our cover as we have to take into account the difference between the realism and the serious side of the song to the fun and energetic side.
