Lady gaga is a very unique character. She could never be catorgorized, with a surealist theme in everything she does and a style so abstract and unusual she never fails to amaze her audience. This CD cover realy defines her attitude and look overall - firstly the noticable word fonting,in bright bold white, its jagged edges are revealed as though hand signitured by herself, as if personally handing out her albumn this marks an apreciation and close bonding unto her fans. Her body is shown with no clothing , her skin;almost glowing with a tatoto across her back she defines the 'dont judge me' attitude. Infact the Albumn title 'Born This Way' says it all, she is who she is and proud. On a black background she realy stands out, something she has always longed for and she undoubtbly catches our eye. Her make up is bold, a flick on her eye area is her statement piece, she is never seen without it and it clarifys her individuality. Her hair stands upright, yet bizarley looks perfect, this is why her character is so intreiguing, she denys all sterotypes and this CD cover is a perfect example; Lady GaGa is a creative women and being deemed extraudinarily odd is an understatement.
Relating this to Kreayshawn we see some comparisons. Firstly there style is both bold and very different, yet they thrive of there appearences and wear there style with pride. In all of there videos' the mise en cene is very random and fasinating reflecting there characters.
Contrasting is there manerisms, although GaGa is creative she doesnt maintain a street ethic or 'Gangster style' like Kreayshawn who resites 'one big room full of bad b#tches' Lady GaGa isnt less sutle howver doesnt nesasarily use expletives to expreess herself.
Hopefully the CD cover we produce says alot about our artist as much as this Cd cover portrays Lady Gaga.
