Experimentation that didn't work

We tried a lot of different shots, locations and costumes, some of which didn't work how we would've hoped and so we left these shots out the video.

Some locations didn't work because they didn't quite fit with the theme of the rest of the video for example We tried doing some filming in a more natural location but as the rest of the video was based in the city centre it didn't fit. We thought it would be a nice place to film as it was right next to the motorway and would show the mixture of locations in the city centre but the way we placed the camera caused the shot to only show the natural location and when we tried to fit it into the video it looked out of place.

Some other locations we tried were more like the rest of the video but were either filled with too many other people or had a light glare. We also found that in these shots the main character was wearing a costume that had frequently been featured in the video and so w thought we should use some that mix up the style a little more.

It was not only some locations that we tried that didn't work but also some locations for example we used a costume that was too big for that star and it looked slightly odd. We also had some shots in the studio that didn't work because they were wearing black leggings on a black background. We decided not to use these shots because we thought they wouldn't work with the rest of the video and the steriotypes we tried to use.
